Nigeria – A Tourist Destination

Nigeria, with spectacular and exciting places is an ideal place for planning a vacation or a holiday. Every year, tourists from all over the world visit Nigeria to see its tropical rain forests, mangrove swamps, sahel savannah and the savannah grasslands. Some of the prime natural attractions for the tourists are: Ikogosi Warm Springs, Owu Falls, Assop Falls, Wikki Warm Springs and Niger Benue Confluence.  A 350 miles coastline along the Atlantic also attracts many visitors to Nigeria. Few examples below:

In Benin city, the capital of Edo state, which is famous for its unique bronze, brass and ivory works of art is a great attraction for tourists; in Lagos state, the former capital of Nigeria, it has the first storey building in Nigeria, located in Badagry, a town on the outskirt of Lagos. Also, tourists would enjoy the Eyo Masquerade. An occasion use to celebrate the death of an important person in the society or  commersorate an important event.

Travel to Nigeria will not more be a problem for tourists as Nigeria is well connected by air with four international airports, 7 major domestic airports, airstrips, 25 local and small district airports are spread across the country for the convenience of the air travelers.
